OMG!!! The popular fashion manga/anime Paradise Kiss is confirmed to have a real action movie adaptation and it will be released in June 2011 in Japan!!
In this movie, Keiko Kitagawa will play the role as Hayasaka Yukari, the main female character, a high school student who is tired of the meaningless and repetitive life that has been forced upon her by her uptight mother; while Mukai Osamu will play as Joji Koizumi, an eccentric, handsome, and extremely charismatic student of Yazagaku who has extraordinary talent with a gift for fashion design.
Paradise Kiss, written by Ai Yazawa (whose also the author of the awesome manga/anime "Nana") is a great anime with gorgeous characters, countless high-fashion clothes designs had caught my attentionh when I first saw its anime teaser shown in Animax. The anime is about a love story between an intelligent high school student, Yukari aka Caroline and a fashion designer, Joji aka George. Yukari became a successful model under the persuasion of Joji.
The opening theme song of the anime had accompanied me every night whenever I was stressed from form 3 till form 5. Its name is "Lonely in Gorgeous" and is sung by Tomoko Kawase aka Tommy February6.
